The kick-off topic will be "Grief". We will be interviewing Jeanie Carson, a bereavement counselor at Good Shepherd Community Care in Newton, MA. Jeanie will cover questions about what grief is, ways of helping someone who is grieving, navigating our own grief, resources for addressing grief, including losses that were never fully grieved, and dealing with “disenfranchised grief” or losses beyond death of a significant person in our lives. We will also have time for prayer. Invite a friend or two! Bring your own lunch and chair/blanket and we will either picnic at Dana Park or in Fellowship Hall (weather depending).
